🗒 Routine for a 6 month old baby 🗒⁠
⁠
I am a big fan of routine for babies (and children), and I can say from experience that they benefit parents and the babies alike. ⁠Below is a rough schedule that I currently use with a client and their 6 month old daughter who sleeps from 7pm-7am. ⁠
⁠
⁠
🍼 7am Wake Up, Bottle, Getting dressed⁠
🧸 8am Playtime⁠
🛌 9:30am-10am Nap (Most need a 45 minute nap)⁠
🍼 11am Solids, followed by milk⁠
🛌 12pm Long Nap for 2 hours⁠
🍼 2:00pm Solids (if 2nd meal is introduced already) Milk⁠
🧸 3pm Playtime, Walk outside⁠
🛌 4:30/5pm Most babies I know still need a third nap, I usually let them sleep in the pram.⁠
🍼 5pm Milk (Split feed)⁠
🌃. 5:45m Evening routine, Bath⁠
🍼 6:30 Milk (Split feed)⁠
🛌. 6:45-7pm Bed time⁠
⁠
Every baby is different and your baby might wake up or go to bed earlier/later, and still feed during the night. ⁠
