If you are looking for support with your newborn, but don’t wish to have someone living in your home, a daily maternity nurse can be an ideal solution. As a daily maternity nurse I work 8-12 hours per day with some flexibility.
I will help you with feeds; support your preference of breast feeding, bottle-feeding or combination feeding. As a daily maternity nurse I am also responsible for keeping all the baby’s bottles clean and sterilised, bathing your baby and teaching you how to bathe your baby. I will settle, or teach you how to settle your baby and advise you on all other aspects of newborn care. Last but not least, I will do your baby’s laundry, so that you can rest and have one thing less to worry about.
Disclaimer: Please note that my advice and guidance is based on my training and experience working with infants and parents. I am not medically qualified and you should always consult your GP or healthcare professional if you are concerned about your child. *Maternity Practitioners/Newborn care specialists are commonly known as maternity or baby nurses, however I am not medically trained as a nurse. The wording ‘maternity nurse’ is mainly used for keyword and search engine rankings.
